Are you looking for a hobby that makes you feel like you're flying? An exercise class that doesn't suck? A place to meet people you just click with like you've known each other forever? Or a magical combination of all of these? Well here it is!

Join a beginners class at Cloud Aerial Arts and you can literally fly away from your problems. We have the most comprehensive range of classes, the best teachers and the nicest space to come and play in. Escape real life for an hour or two (or ten) a week and grow in ways you didn't know were possible.

If you like pretty poses and fun transitions go for hoop or pole. If you want to work a bit harder and like to fling yourself around in the air go for rope or silks. If you're not sure just try one of everything and pick your favourite. We have classes running every single day and our beginner classes are suitable for brand new people with zero experience. New people walk through the door every day at Cloud so you won't be on your own starting your journey.

What to Expect in Our Classes

- Warm-Up and Conditioning: Start with a gentle warm-up and exercises designed to build the strength and flexibility needed for aerial hoop.

- Basic Moves and Techniques: Learn the fundamental positions and movements on the equipment in a safe and supportive environment.

- Combos and Choreography: Put together simple sequences and enjoy the satisfaction of fluid movement and flow.

- Cool Down and Stretch: End each session with a relaxing cool down to enhance flexibility and prevent injury.

Am I Too Unfit/Overweight/Old/Clumsy/Socially Awkward?

I swear this is the biggest barrier to joining classes. Your brain telling you that you're all of the above and you will be the worst person in class. When I first started pole in 2009, I was absolutely terrible at it. I was the worst in class and I was the last to get every move. But I had a great time each class, laughing through my failure and celebrating my wins. You will be the same. Yes you will suck when you first start. Everyone sucks at everything when they first start, and if they don't then it's because it's not difficult enough and therefore not worthy anyway.

 

Our classes are specifically tailored for beginners, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and can progress at their own pace. All you need is enthusiasm and the dedication to show up. Stop listening to that voice that says you're not good enough and you'll be amazed what you achieve.
